As a Partner with Ramey & Kampf, P.A., Amber Inman devotes her practice to the defense of First and Third Party Coverage issues, Bodily Injury, and Uninsured/Underinsured claims.
Her cases often involve complex legal issues resulting in the defense or prosecution of Declaratory Judgments on behalf of insurance companies.
While the majority of her work is primarily related to trial practice her cases also include establishment of guardianships for minors or incapacitated persons, administration of estates, and pre-litigation global settlement conferences.
Amber is a member of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section and the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Professionalism and Ethics Committee. Amber serves her community through volunteering as a student mentor with the Hillsborough Education Foundation and the Hillsborough Association of Women Lawyers. Amber served as Co-Chair on the Young Lawyer’s Division Law Week Committee, which coordinated tours of the courthouse for hundreds of Hillsborough County middle school students. She is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Bar Leadership Institute.
Amber started her career at the Public Defender’s Office in Hillsborough County defending thousands of indigent individuals from arrest to trial. Through extensive motion practice and pre-trial advocacy, Amber achieved the top percentage of cases resulting in dismissal in the County Court Division before deciding to move into civil practice.
Amber earned her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando, Florida where she served as Article Editor of the Law Review and as President of the International Law Students Association. While in law school, Amber also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Lisa Campbell at the 13th Judicial Circuit Court, Hillsborough County, Florida.
